Overview
The Wellington Solar Farm is a 174MWac (200MWdc) renewable energy facility. Located approximately three kilometres north-east of Wellington in the Orana region of NSW.
On average Wellington Solar Farm produces enough clean energy to power the equivalent of approximately 66,684 Australian homes, helping to reduce emissions equivalent to taking 119,309 cars off the road each year.
Construction of the Wellington Solar Farm is complete, and the asset has been fully operational since November 2020. Located alongside the 330MWac (425MWdc) Wellington North Solar Farm the two neighbouring facilities contribute to a more sustainable energy network for the region and for NSW.
Both the Wellington and Wellington North Solar Farms are owned and operated by Aula Energy following an acquisition in February 2026. Aula Energy is a trusted partner in Australia’s clean energy transition. We develop, construct and operate clean energy projects to power Australia’s future.
